Internet Explorer freezes constantly. Why?

I'm using Internet Explorer 6 with a dial-up modem and it freezes often. If I type an address too quickly or do something before the page is finished loading, it freezes and I have to send an error report and open IE again.

There does seem to be some issue where something is in conflict, from your description.

Mozilla Firefox might work, but then, it could get into a conflict, too!

Please check if you have the latest updates for your MS XP.

All the best!

Cheers!

why don t you try mozilla firefox?
your internet explorer is infected with a virus. you must have a fire wall, regularly update your virus scanner program and never use internet explorer.

you may download mozilla firefox
Well, your connection is the SLOWEST one out there, and that is a good indicator that the problem lies there.

Also..when was the last time you ran "DeFrag" on your hard-drive? (contrary to popular belief, this does NOT erase anything!) It's like putting together a jig-saw puzzle. DeFrag puts all the scattered pieces of your programs together, which frees up space, and makes the whole shebang run better!
yes this happens all the time to me and it really sucks , so found the best solution is to have another browser ready on my PC if IE starts freezing at me , the other browser turned to be more powerful that IE faster and safer , it is Firefox , and it is FREE too.

you can download it from the link below :
