Internet Explorer won't work, but Mozilla does...?

I am able to surf the net on Mozilla but as soon as I try to get onto Internet Explorer to go to certain websites it won't work. I've tried numerous websites and IE is still not working.

It says it cannot find server or DNS error.

This is driving me insane!

check your proxy settings

in IE at the top click on tools | internent options | connections | lan settings

Uncheck automatically detect settings.

If I were you, I'd stop using IE. I'm using Firefox Browser and I'm happy with it. Firefox has everything you need in a browser. Why switch to IE?
hope you are using windows XP and upgraded IE to version 7... if it's so, its very common, the latest IE (version 7) has so many problems especially with other laguages than English. please try using the IE version 6. Go to add/remove programs on control panel and remove that update of IE.

If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c... do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode .Then use the immunize feature to block bad sites from secretely installing any more trojan downloaders.
